Today we explored folklore and fairy tales. We read the story of the 'Three Billy Goats Gruff' and as it was Halloween we talked about scary trolls. In previous sessions we read Michael Rosen stories, where the author replaces words for comedy effects. Together we made an original version of 'Three Billy Goats Gruff' by replacing main words - our story was called 'The Three Silly Coats Duff'.

Talking about films with trolls in was further exploration on the theme. Hope said that her favourite film with trolls in was 'Frozen'. Helen also likes 'Frozen'.

We all thought of folklore creatures and made a big list.
